IFC Annual General Meeting 2013

Once a year, members of the International Federation of Cheerleading come together to share ideas, vote on issues and build the future of our sport at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

This year’s AGM was in Bangkok and brought together many familiar faces as well many new ones to the discussion table. Some of the main topics of the AGM were, “The future of the sport”, activity reports from the Asian Federation of Cheerleading (AFC), European Cheerleading Association (ECA), Pan-American Federation of Cheerleading (PFC),and future projects and competitions as well as a presentation by the Thailand Federation of Cheerleading (TFC) of the Cheerleading World Championships 2013 (CWC).

The friendly gathering in Bangkok also proved to be fruitful for the Cheer Dance Committee which held two meetings over the weekend to address issues and to better the global CheerDance movement. Further momentum was gained as all guests were invited to visit the future venue, the IMPACT Arena, the site of the 7th Cheerleading World Championships 2013, November 23rd & 24th 2013.
